The Family Lagoon Perlebucht can be reached in ten minutes by bike.

It is located in the well-known resort Westerdeichstrich near Büsum, characterized by rural surroundings and with a two kilometre green beach for bathing “with” and “without”. The hamlet of Stinteck is situated right behind the dike. The bathing area featuring restaurant and café, barbecue hut, beach volleyball arey and playground is just two minutes away from your apartment. From here you can also attend Guided tours of the mudflat .
You can rent bicycles in the immediate vicinity of your apartment, and horse-riding enthusiasts will be happy as well.
Several restaurants, cafes and bistros in Stinteck and in Westerdeichstrich are looking forward to your visit.
A 10 minute bicycle ride along the dike takes you to the Büsum “Family Lagoon Perlebucht”, completely redesigned in 2012, with its sandy beach and many leisure facilities, as well as to the city centre of Büsum. Here you find the leisure and adventure Pool “Piraten Meer” (“Sea of the Pirates”) featuring a wave pool, an outdoor pool and a sauna area, as well as many nice restaurants and cafes, a pedestrian area for strolling and shopping and of course the harbour with the famous prawn cutters. Trips to the seal banks and to Germany’s only offshore island, Helgoland, start from here.
The aquarium “Büsumer Meereswelten” (“Büsum Marine Worlds”) features 34 display pools with a total of 60,000 litres of freshwater and seawater. It ist one of the most diverse aquarium facilities on the west coast of Germany. The “Phänomania” provides insights in science phenomena – you can try everything yourself!
For day trips we also recommend the Eider barrage and the Multimar-Wattforum (Mudflat forum) in Tönning, the seal sanctuary in Friedrichskoog, the lively St. Peter-Ording with its wide beach open for cars, and the world-famous lighthouse of Westerhever.
From Büsum/Heide airfield you can take scenic flights over the beautiful Dithmarschen coast and enjoy breathtaking views of National Park Schleswig-Holsteinisches Wattenmeer (Mudflats).
Facilities
Your apartment was completely renovated and newly furnished in spring 2017. It was awarded a 4 star rating by the German Tourism Association () in 2017.
The apartment features a spacious living-dining room with a large balcony and fully equipped open kitchen, a separate bedroom and a second bedroom in the attic, entered via a charming spiral staircase directly from the living room, as well as a comfortable shower bath and a hall with a wardrobe. Plenty of space for four.
We provide free internet access (WI-FI) and a telephone with a flat rate to the German landline.
From Spring 2020 on the apartment will be equipped with a washing machine include a tumble dryer.
Bedding is available for all sleeping places, bed linen and towels are included.

From May, 1st to Oct, 31 a tourism tax of €2,00 pppd , in the remaining time €1,00 pppd is charged in Westerdeichstrich, the maximum annual charge is €56.00. In return you will be provided with a guest card valid daily in Westerdeichstrich, Büsum and Büsumer Deichhausen as well as for one single visit to beaches in many seaside resorts in Schleswig-Holstein./em>
